On August 10, 2012 our sweet sweet Mom, Catherine Sedlak was diagnosed with a Cavernous Angioma in her Brain Stem.
When she was first diagnosed with the brain tumor her symptoms were very mild, so mild that we didn't believe she had a tumor! She looked wonderful and felt great! Within two months, she went from mild tingling in her mouth and fingers to not being able to walk without assistance.
Everything is happening very fast. We are still trying to accept the fact that our Mom is very sick. She is in great hands, surrounded by family and friends taking care of her. We love her so much and will do whatever it takes to get her back to being happy and healthy!

Your Mom is amazing. I used to work with her in Day Surgery. When I heard this news I have been praying daily. When I run in Bear Branch I kneel at their front sidewalk and pray. She was a blessing to me every time I had the pleasure to work with her! She is strong! Know that I will be praying daily!
